RYLA is Rotary’s Youth Leadership Training Program. RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, personnel growth and service. From June 26 to 29 2017, clubs throughout District 7780 will send up to 120 high school sophomores to Rotary Youth Leadership Awards conference held at Camp Hines in Raymond Maine. Participants will be assigned to a group of 12 where they will spend 4 days together exploring leadership concepts through a series of practical situations. These include team building activities, group problem solving, confidence building activities and solo events.
Interested High School Sophomores can obtain the application and registration forms or program brochure to the left of this story. The deadline for submitting completed applications to your Interact advisor is March 31, 2016. The cost of the program is provided by the Rotary Club of South Portland - Cape Elizabeth. Selected students will need to complete a District registration form, Parental consent and medical examination form from a health care provider.
